It was an injury-filled run for the Detroit Lions over the course of three games in 11 days around their annual Thanksgiving Day game, with a notable player on another team lamenting having that type of stretch upcoming. So extra time before taking on the Buffalo Bills in Week 15, easily tabbed as a potential Super Bowl preview, was welcome.

As the new week started, head coach Dan Campbell's injury updates were mostly positive on all fronts (including some players who are on IR). As for players who could be available this week, practice reports on Wednesday and Thursday backed that up.

There was one addition to Thursday's practice report though, as linebacker Trevor Nowaske was a non-participant due to a concussion.

Campbell's updates before Friday's practice were along the expected lines. Josh Paschal (knee), Taylor Decker (knee) and Levi Onwuzurike (hamstring) are looking good to play on Sunday. Alim McNeill has cleared concussion protocol, and he is also looking good to go after being injured against the Packers in Week 14.

Nowaske, who has emerged amid all the Lions' injuries at linebacker, is in concussion protocol. Campbell said he didn't see Nowaske playing on Sunday.
