Detroit Lions inactives list for Week 11 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Here are the inactive players for the Detroit Lions in Week 11.

The Detroit Lions have played one game at home since their Week 5 bye, but in Week 11 they will host the reeling 2-8 Jacksonville Jaguars at Ford Field. It's also their third game in their last four against an AFC South opponent.

This week's headline injury-wise for the Lions is attached to tight end Sam LaPorta. He suffered a left shoulder injury in Week 10 against the Houston Texans, leading head coach Dan Campbell to suggest he might miss this week's game. After not being able to practice all week, LaPorta was ruled out on Friday.

On the positive side regarding injuries for the Lions, left tackle Taylor Decker and linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez were not given an injury designation on Friday. Decker missed Week 10 with a shoulder injury, and Rodriguez has missed the last two games since suffering an ankle injury in Week 8.

Cornerback Carlton Davis popped up on Thursday's practice report with a hand injury, which he revealed to be a broken thumb. But he's going to play with a cast on, and he was not given an injury designation for Sunday's game.

Backup linebacker Ben Niemann showed up on Friday's injury report with an ankle injury, and he was listed as questionable for Sunday.

Also ruled out for the Lions on Friday was defensive tackle Brodric Martin (knee), safety Ifeatu Melifonwu (ankle/finger) and cornerback Emmanuel Moseley (pectoral). All three are in their 21-day evaluation windows to come off IR. Martin has two more days left after Sunday, as Campbell's early indication the entire three-week window would be exhausted is coming true. Melifonwu and Moseley have nine days left to be added to the 53-man roster. Since all three are on IR and not on the active roster, they will not be listed as inactive for Sunday's game.
