During their rise to being one of the best teams in the NFL under Dan Campbell, the Detroit Lions have become quite popular outside of Detroit. The primetime games they play are routinely heavily-watched compared to other games in a given week, as recently reflected by the numbers ESPN released for Monday night's game against the San Francisco 49ers, and fans of other teams may even root for them if their favorite team is not involved.

So it easily correlates that Lions' players will be popular in the fan portion of Pro Bowl voting. Those numbers were released on Tuesday, with the full announcement of the 2025 Pro Bowl rosters, including the voting results from players and coaches as equal thirds in the tally, coming on Thursday morning on NFL Network's "Good Morning Football."

Detroit Lions dominate 2025 Pro Bowl fan voting

The Lions led all NFL teams in total votes received this year. Two Lions players finished in the top-five of overall vote getters.

1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: 252,200
2. Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions: 250,082
3. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders: 242,352
4. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals: 239,526
5. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions: 225,858

Seven Lions were the leading vote-getters at their position: Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Penei Sewell, Kevin Zeitler, Frank Ragnow, Kerby Joseph and Jack Fox.

Several other Lions landed in the top-five at their position in fan voting: Goff (No. 3 quarterback, as shown above), Brian Branch (No. 2 safety), Taylor Decker (No. 2 offensive tackle), Graham Glasgow (No. 2 guard), Alim McNeill (No. 3 defensive tackle), Sam LaPorta (No. 4 tight end), Jack Campbell (No. 2 inside linebacker), Carlton Davis (No. 4 cornerback), David Montgomery (No. 5 running back), Sione Vaki (No. 3 special teamer, Jake Bates (No. 3 kicker) and Hogan Hatten (No. 4 long snapper).

Of course Lions fans will say Pro Bowl voting, and the coming announcement of the 2025 Pro Bowl Games rosters, ultimately won't matter because they'll be playing in the Super Bowl. But as a reflection of the team's popularity, and the quality of the roster top to bottom, fans across the country put their voting clicks behind the Lions big-time this year.
