The Detroit Lions came back then closed out the Chicago Bears in Week 10, and they’ve won two straight games to change the vibe around them. The Lions will hit the road again in Week 11, this time to take on the 7-2 New York Giants.

The Giants are one of the most surprising teams in the league this season. They aren’t winning pretty, with all seven of their wins by one score and no games with more than 27 points scored. But the resurgence of running back Saquon Barkley, efficient play from quarterback Daniel Jones and a solid play from an underrated defense is getting it done for them. Perhaps most impotantly, head coach Brian Daboll has instilled a level of belief in players who are mostly holdovers from the recent years of losing in New York.

The Giants are not equipped to blow any team out, and the Lions generally stick around in games. That’s an easy formula for a close game, and a relatively low-scoring game if the Giants have their way at home.

But even against a team that’s not quite as good as its record says, which will eventually be proven, the Lions’ winning streak narrowly ends this week. On the other betting angles, the current point spread is a push with the Giants winning by a field goal and the under on the point total just barely hits.
