Here are three top prop bets for the Detroit Lions for Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins.

Before digging into Week 8’s Detroit Lions prop bets, let’s take a look at Week 7’s results.

WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, over 6.5 receptions (-120): One catch for four yards, left early injured
TE T.J. Hockenson, over 3.5 receptions (-156): Four receptions
St. Brown, anytime touchdown (+140): Did not score, left injured

The Lions come back home to play the Miami Dolphins, who have a very good offense with talent all over the place, in Week 8. Miami is favored by 3.5 points on FanDuel Sportsbook, and the 51.5-point over-under is the highest on the NFL slate for the week.

Via DraftKings Sportsbook, here are three top Lions’ prop bets for Week 8

Best Detroit Lions prop bets in Week 8 vs. Miami Dolphins

D’Andre Swift prop bet:

  • Over 78.5 rushing and receiving yards (-115)

Swift is set to return after missing the last three games with shoulder and ankle issues. It’s fair to say he will be fed a healthy dose of touches, and it would only take him breaking a big play or two to push toward a nice total yardage total. On say 15-20 touches, 80 yards would be a low bar and it would hit the over here.

Amon-Ra St. Brown prop bet:

  • 75+ yards (+110)

St. Brown left Week 7 early and did not return, despite not actually suffering a concussion. He appears set to play on Sunday, and to say Miami’s secondary is banged up is an understatement.

An easy prop to bet the over on here would be St. Brown over 5.5 catches (-150 on DraftKings). But 75 or more yards is plus money, so it gets the nod here.

Jared Goff prop bet:

  •  300-plus passing yards (+205)

Taking a bit of risk here on Goff throwing for at least 300 yards on Sunday. But Miami has not put a lot of pressure on opposing quarterbacks so far this season (fourth-worst pressure rate in the league, according to Pro Football Reference), and as mentioned their secondary is injury-thinned. A clean pocket more often than not and a full set of weapons=taking a chance on a big day through the air for the Lions’ signal caller.
