After putting up 45 points in a loss to the Seahawks in Week 4, Detroit hopes to maintain its impressive offensive output against the Patriots in Week 5. Thanks to PointsBet, we can swing for the fences without fear. Here’s who I’m betting to score a TD as the Lions take on the Patriots in Week 5:

Lions vs Patriots Anytime TD Scorer Picks

Jamaal Williams (-105)

New England hasn’t allowed a rushing TD yet this year, but Williams is a walking TD machine. He’s got an NFL-best six in just four weeks, including four in his last two games. With Detroit’s excellent offensive line opening up lanes, Williams is carving defenses up while D’Andre Swift recovers from injury.

There’s no reason Williams’ odds should be this short. The Lions score the most points per game in the NFL, and Williams will have no problem finding the end zone for a seventh time in 2022.

Rhamondre Stevenson (+120)

Detroit allows the sixth-most rushing yards per game in the NFL, alongside two TDs per game to running backs. Rashaad Penny just carved this defense up for 151 yards and two TDs, and I like Stevenson’s chances to find pay dirt too.

Stevenson’s touches have increased each week, culminating in Week 4 with 14 carries and four catches. With that much volume, it’s difficult to imagine Rhamondre not scoring against the Lions’ leaky defense.

Amon-Ra St. Brown (+125)

If St. Brown can suit up, he’s a must-bet. He had 33 targets and three TDs through the first three weeks, extending a stellar stretch of scoring a TD in six consecutive games.

The Sun God is the No. 1 option in the league’s highest scoring offense. As long as he plays, +125 odds are an absolute bargain.

Before you lock any of these TD Scorer bets in, don’t forget to first sign up for PointsBet to claim your five $100 risk-free bets. You could bet a different player each day if you’d like, just get signed up in time to really get this party started.
