The Detroit Lions had a big week offensively in Week 4, and here’s fantasy football-tilted review of the proceedings.

With the highest-scoring offense in the NFL and the 32nd-ranked scoring defense through four weeks, Detroit Lions games are set to be fantasy football bonanzas every week. Changes to the defense will probably only do so much, with talent and depth a core issue.

With 86 offensive points and over 1,000 yards of offense between them and the Seattle Seahawks, Week 4 was a high-end fantasy bonanza involving the Lions.

Anyone who had a key Lion in their fantasy lineup was happy in Week 4.

Here’s a  fantasy football review of what happened for the Lions against the Seahawks.

Detroit Lions Week 4 fantasy football review

QB Jared Goff

Goff is tied for the league lead with 11 touchdown passes through four games, and his second game with four touchdowns through the air came in Week 4. He completed 26 of 39 passes for 378 yards with four touchdowns, and interception and a two-point conversion pass against Seattle.

Goff is QB5 overall in fantasy through Week 4. In Week 4, his 34.22 fantasy points landed him at QB1 for the week.

Week 5 against the New England Patriots is a more challenging matchup for Goff. But New England has allowed over 250 passing yards and/or multiple passing touchdowns in three of four games this season, with the exception Mitch Trubisky. So Goff could keep his nice run going, as a weekly QB2 with QB1 upside in good matchups.
