Their team won’t be the clearly better team on Sunday at Ford Field, but these three Seattle Seahawks players could wreck the Detroit Lions day.
The Detroit Lions will be undermanned on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, with their two best offensive players (Amon-Ra St. Brown, D’Andre Swift), their starting left guard (Jonah Jackson) and even their kicker (Austin Siebert) out.
But that does not mean the Lions can’t win the game, as the Seahawks are not exactly world-beaters. They might not end the season with as bad a record as some people thought they would going into the season, call it the Pete Carroll factor if you must, but if they’re not last in NFC West that means another team in that division had an awful year.
Having Geno Smith at quarterback, and if not him then Drew Lock, is not a recipe to have anything other than a top-10 pick in next April’s draft.
But even with Russell Wilson gone to Denver as his relationship with Carroll clearly soured in recent years, and safety Jamal Adams out for the season, the Seahawks have some individual talents who could give the Lions some real trouble.
On that note, here are three Seahawks players who could truly wreck the Lions’ day on Sunday.
