5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mike Evans served a one-game suspension in Week 3, so he’ll be back in Week 4 and until further notice barring an injury. But the rest of Tampa Bay’s wide receiving corps resembles an infirmary, with Chris Godwin, Julio Jones and Russell Gage some level of banged up.

The Buccaneers don’t have the cap space to take on much more than practically the veteran minimum portion of Golladay’s salary. But Tom Brady may be in is final season, and they are automatically in a win-now window for as long as he’s the quarterback. A Los Angeles Rams’ like “f-them picks” mentality has to be in play if it means helping this year’s roster.

It’s easy to see too much overlap in the skill sets of Evans and Golladay, since both are big-bodied receivers who are better in contested catch situations more than able to blow away defenders with pure speed. But that does not matter all that much, and if the Buccaneers are willing to part with a Day 2 draft pick the Giants could be convinced to take on almost all of Golladay’s salary.
