Detroit has one of the best offenses in the NFL, and it’s one of the biggest reasons the Lions are 4-point favorites over Seattle this Sunday and will beat them by more than that. I’ll explain why Detroit is such a good value, but let’s first make sure you’ve claimed your $1,000 free bet from BetMGM.

But we’re going to win – and so are the Lions. Here’s why:

3 Reasons the Lions Will Beat the Seahawks by a TD

That Explosive Offense

Amon-Ra St. Brown and D’Andre Swift both may miss this contest, but Detroit should hum away offensively regardless.

That offensive line ranks among the NFL’s best, and a stellar line can mask deficiencies on offense. Seattle ranks 29th in opponent yards per play (6.3) so I’ve got a ton of faith in the Lions to put points on the board.

Detroit’s Home Excellence

The Lions covered the spread in each of their last six home games, winning four of the previous five outright. A big part of Detroit’s football resurgence is the Lions’ excellent play at home, and I see that advantage being a factor Sunday.

Seattle is just 2-5 in its last seven road games. Even with a banged-up offense, Detroit has a big home-field edge.

Improving Defense

I know the loss to Minnesota stings, but Seattle’s offense isn’t close to Minnesota’s caliber. The Lions measure favorably in a number of defensive metrics, such as ranking 12th in sacks per game.

Okudah shut Justin Jefferson down in Week 3, and I’m optimistic about Detroit’s defense moving forward. So far, the Lions allowed a TD on over 90% of opponent’s red zone opportunities, and that number will regress as the season moves along.

It’s likely Detroit’s defense is better than we realize, and it’ll get a chance to prove that against Seattle.

Just be sure to claim your $1,000 free bet from BetMGM before it’s too late. Detroit has delivered paydays to bettors with regularity, so sign up for BetMGM now to secure your share of the profits.
