The Detroit Lions are an electric first-half offense, averaging the third-most points in the NFL at 16.7 per game. Seattle, meanwhile, allows the second-most first-half points in the league (also 16.7). This perfect marriage gives the Lions Over 13.5 First-Half Points tremendous value.
I just don’t see how the Seahawks stop Detroit. Seattle let the Falcons and Marcus Mariota and the dreadful 49ers offense score, and the Lions have much more dangerous playmakers with a better offensive line.

With D’Andre Swift likely out with an injury, the O-Line will give Jamaal Williams tons of running room while protecting Jared Goff long enough to find Amon-Ra St. Brown, TJ Hockenson and others. Seattle’s defensive line is a weakness, so Detroit should move the ball at will.
My only concern with the Lions’ team total bet is if they build a huge lead and don’t need to score in the 2nd half. As a result, I’m backing the first-half total to maximize the time Detroit will actually need to score.
