The Detroit Lions will open their division schedule on the road against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, and here are three prop bets to consider cashing in on.

Before we jump into Week 3’s Detroit Lions prop bets, let’s take a look at Week 2’s results.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, Anytime touchdown (+125): Two touchdowns
St. Brown, 70-plus receiving yards (+108): 116 yards
Lions QB Jared Goff, 250-plus passing yards (+124): 256 yards

So it was a profitable week for Lions’ prop bets here. But as Babe Ruth once said, “Yesterday’s home runs don’t win today’s games.”

So on to Week 3 it is, and here are our three best prop bets for the Lions against the Vikings on Sunday. Odds via FanDuel Sportsbook.

Best prop bets for Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings Week 3

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Anytime touchdown scorer (+105)

St. Brown now owns the NFL record of six straight games with at least eight catches and a touchdown. His matchup as the Lions’ slot receiver is pretty favorable again this week, against Vikings’ slot corner Chandon Sullivan. Of course at this point, St. Brown is becoming matchup-proof as he asserts himself among the best wide receivers in the NFL. But he has a clear skill advantage again in Week 3.

Touchdowns are fickle to predict. But a bet on St. Brown to score is as good as any around, so it’s back to the well here at plus-money.

DJ Chark, Anytime touchdown scorer (+210)

Jared Goff misfired to an open Chark in the end zone in Week 2 against the Commanders, and there have been near-miss big plays for him in both games thus far. He scored in Week 1 against the Eagles, as he topped 50 yards on eight targets in that game.

It will only take getting open once against what could be an injury-thinned Vikings secondary (cornerback Andrew Booth-quad; safety Harrison Smith-concussion) on Sunday for the Lions’ top 2022 free agent signing to cash a touchdown-scoring bet. At +210, it’s hard to turn away from on Chark in what’s lined up to be a high-scoring game (53.5 over/under on FanDuel).

D’Andre Swift, Anytime touchdown (+110)

Going for the trifecta of Lions’ touchdown scorers in Week 3.

Swift had a rushing touchdown in Week 1, then a receiving touchdown in Week 2. An ankle injury that limited his workload last week seems to be trending the right direction, and the Lions’ lead back is a threat to score anytime he touches the ball.

FanDuel has Swift at +750 to score two or more touchdowns against the Vikings. In what’s set up to be a point-scoring fest on Sunday, it’s not out of the question he scores via ground and air. A small bet could pay off nicely.
