Here are the players who will be inactive for Sunday’s game between the Detroit Lions and the Washington Commanders.

The Friday injury report for the Detroit Lions had some key players on it, and one of them (left guard Jonah Jackson) was downgraded from questionable to doubtful on Saturday. Then on Sunday morning it was reported running back D’Andre Swift (ankle) would play but likely be limited, and cornerback Amani Oruwariye would be out.

Ahead of the 1.p.m. ET kickoff, here are the inactives for the Lions and the Washington Commanders.

Detroit Lions vs. Washington Commanders: Week 2 inactives

Lions inactives: C Frank Ragnow, OG Jonah Jackson, CB Amani Oruwariye, S Ifeatu Melifonwu, DE Austin Bryant, TE James Mitchell, DT Demetrius Taylor

Commanders inactives: QB Sam Howell, S Kam Curl, CB Tariq Castro-Fields, OG Wes Schweitzer, OG Chris Paul, TE Cole Turner, DT Benning Potao’e

The Lions are indeed down all three interior offensive line starters on Sunday, with right guard Halapoulivaati Vatai (back) on IR already.

Oruwariye’s absence means Jeff Okudah is lined up to get the matchup against Commanders’ No. 1 wide receiver Terry McLaurin on Sunday. Rookie cornerback Chase Lucas will make his NFL debut.

With Julian Okwara ready to go and active, the Lions’ defensive end depth led to to Bryant being inactive in favor of having extra bodies at other spots that have been thinned by injuries.

The biggest headline for the Lions is that Swift is active. Even at less than 100 percent and likely on a pitch count in terms of snaps, that’s great news on an otherwise dismal injury report for Detroit with three starters (and three of their 10? best players) down.

Washington defensive tackle Jonathan Allen was added to the injury report on Saturday (questionable, groin), but he’s active. Schweitzer started Week 1 for Washington and Curl would be starting if he was healthy, but compared to the Lions the Commanders won’t be down many key players on Sunday.
