FOX has revealed their NFL broadcast crews for the 2022 season, including who will call the Detroit Lions Week 1 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Detroit Lions have no scheduled primetime games this season, and 1 p.m ET time starts in at least 15 of 16 possible games that could be scheduled that way. Thanksgiving is the guaranteed exception, and Week 18 is to be determined.

Naturally, most of the Lions’ games will air on FOX this year–13 or 14 of 17, with the remaining on CBS. Here are FOX’s six NFL broadcast crews for the new season.

Joe Buck and Troy Aikman have, as a reminder, have moved to take over “Monday Night Football” for ESPN.

Kevin Burkhardt, Greg Olsen, Erin Andrews, Tom Rinaldi
Joe Davis, Daryl Johnston, Pam Oliver
Adam Amin, Mark Schlereth, Kristina Pink
Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma, Shannon Spake
Kevin Kugler, Mark Sanchez, Laura Okmin
Chris Myers, Robert Smith, Jen Hale

Detroit Lions Week 1 tv broadcast crew announced

Along with their announcement of their broadcast teams for the season, FOX also announced the Week 1 game assignments last week.

Adam Amin (play by play), Mark Schlereth (analyst) and Kristina Pink (sideline) will call the Lions’ season opener at home against the Philadelphia Eagles at 1 p.m. ET on Sept. 11.

"Multi-sport play-by-play announcer Adam Amin, in his third season with FOX, again pairs with three-time Super Bowl champion Mark Schlereth in the booth. Kristina Pink, in her 10th year with FOX, joins the duo with reporting duties. In Week 1, the crew calls the 1:00 PM ET Philadelphia Eagles at Detroit Lions matchup."

As noted by Awful Announcing, Amin and Schlereth are a returning duo. They did not call any Lions’ games last season. Pink had previously worked the sideline for Thursday Night Football games.

The Lions won’t get FOX’s top two broadcast crews very often this season, if at all. But such is life when you’re trying to be a relevant team, win games and gain national respect.
