4. RB Justin Jackson

Jackson was an interesting addition for the Lions still less than two weeks ago. The former Charger has been productive when he has gotten a chance in his career, and he has done well in his short time in Detroit’s camp.

With D’Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams sure to get at best light work against the Falcons, Craig Reynolds, Jackson, Godwin Igwebuike and Jermar Jefferson are in line to combined for the majority of the backfield touches for the Lions on Friday night. Getting a long look at Jackson might even be a priority, since Reynolds seems to have a strong hold on a roster spot and Igwebuike and Jefferson may be battling for one spot.

Jackson has a good chance to stick around on the 53-man roster, and the opportunity to shine is lined up in the preseason opener. He will be a reason to watch the second half of a preseason game after the more notable names are off the field.
