Over a year after being traded to the Lions, Jared Goff has put his home in California on the market.

After last season, his first as a Detroit Lion of course, Jared Goff cited, via Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, how he enjoyed living in Michigan. As an adult, he had never lived outside California, having gone to college at the University of California (Berkeley) and then being drafted by the Los Angeles Rams.

"It’s very pretty,” he said at the time. “I live near a lake and being out there in nature and seeing some of that stuff has been really cool.”"

According to the Los Angeles Times this week, Goff has listed his home in Hidden Hills, California. Listing price? $7.5 million.

Goff has owned the home since 2018, according to records, and has made additions since–including a putting green and a upper level chipping pad to further hone his short game without ever having to leave the premises.

During the 2020 edition of HBO’s “Hard Knocks”, we got a look at Goff’s backyard golf situation. We also learned he’s a left-handed golfer.

Jared Goff lists California home: What are the details?

Right from the listing on Zillow, Goff’s now-listed home sits on a shade more than 1.4 acres with a total of 5,369 liveable square footage (4,300-square foot main house and a 1,075-square foot detached guest home with a private driveway based on other sources). The main house has four main level bedrooms and five main level bathrooms (four full baths). There’s a custom in-ground pool and spa, with an outdoor fireplace and covered patio. There’s plenty more to make it a complete “compound”, as the Times’ story headline suggested.

Oh and there’s a mountain view, if that appeals to you.

Selling his house in California doesn’t necessarily mean Goff is going to (or he’s looking to) become a full-time Michigan resident entering his second season with the Lions. But he is in the market for a new home, wherever it’s going to be located.
