5. Jeff Daniels

A native of Chelsea, Michigan, Daniels, most famous for his roles in the films Dumb and Dumber, Speed and Terms of Endearment as well as the HBO show “The Newsroom”, once succinctly and aptly described what it means to be a Lions’ fan.

4. Kid Rock

Kid Rock has been seen at Lions’ games, as the Romeo, Michigan native doesn’t hide from his fandom. He even did an NFL-styled anthem titled “In Detroit” 10 years ago.

3. Eminem

Once upon a time on his Sirius XM channel, Shade 45, Eminem confirmed the Lions are his favorite team.

"I never say the Lions are going to do good or bad … because I never wanna jinx that,”  “The Lions overall are my favorite team — (my) absolute favorite team, you know?”"

2. Keegan-Michael Key

Key just joined Barry Sanders to announce the Lions’ second-round pick in April’s draft, as a sure-fire reflection of his fandom. Born in Southfield, he grew up in the Detroit area and stayed there for college (University of Detroit-Mercy). He was in attendance at last season’s big Week 15 win for the Lions over the Arizona Cardinals.

Before hosting NFL Honors in February, Key predicted the Lions will win the Super Bowl in 2035.

1. Tim Allen

Viewers of the television show “Home Improvement” back in the day certainly remember the fictional Taylors lived in the Detroit area, and Allen’s character occassionally donned a Lions’ t-shirt. Allen even dressed up as a Lion one Halloween, if you believe a TMZ photo. Fans often question head coaching hires, and Allen did that when Jim Caldwell was hired by the Lions in 2014.
