The Detroit Lions currently have picks No. 2 & 32 in the first round in the 2022 draft, but could they make a move to add another top-15 pick?

Detroit Lions general manager Brad Holmes is in a good position to add a lot of talent to the team in this year’s draft, and in 2023. The Matthew Stafford trade last offseason added a first-round pick this year and next.

It may be wise for the Lions to hold onto all their picks, if only to maximize the depth of talent that can be added to the roster over the next two drafts. But they also have assets to move around the board if they want to, as other teams may be looking to move around too.

While there is no elite quarterback in this draft class and other position groups don’t have an elite prospect either, it is a deep draft at multiple spots. So the chance to add two top-15 talents may be a thought that’s enticing for Detroit.

On that note, here are three trades that would bring the Lions two top-15 picks in the 2022 draft.
