3. Jay Gruden

Gruden was last seen as the one-and-done offensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2020. He interviewed for the open offensive coordinator post with the Carolina Panthers, which eventually went to Ben McAdoo.

Gruden first made his hay as offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals from 2011-2013, then of course he spent five-plus seasons (2014-2019) as the head coach in Washington. Getting good quarterback play out of Andy Dalton and Kirk Cousins over the best of those years is a nice mark on his resume.

Campbell may be turned off of working with a former head coach after never really meshing with Lynn, which culminated in his taking over play calling. But it would also not be a huge surprise to find out Gruden was one of the coordinator interviews done down at the Senior Bowl.
