Seventh Round

SMU. Reggie Roberson. 229. player. WR. 50. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Roberson had a couple seasons of his career at SMU ended early by injury, but his numbers over essentially a full season in those campaigns look pretty good (65 receptions for 1,277 yards and 11 touchdowns over 13 games in 2019 and 2020). His numbers dropped in 2021 (51 catches in 12 games), but he remained a solid touchdown scorer (six) and finished with 23 scores in 35 games for the Mustangs.

The Lions add some more potential to their receiver room in the seventh round.

Scouting Report. West Virginia. Dante Stills. 241. player. 50. Pick Analysis. DL

The Lions have been abysmal stopping the run at times this season, and the defensive line may have some veteran turnover this offseason. Stills isn’t as stout (275 pounds) as might be ideal for a 3-4 defensive end, but scouting reports laud his power at the point of attack and his active hands–as a run defender in particular.

For a seventh-round pick, Detroit easily adds to its defensive line mix with Stills.
