Seventh Round

WR. Western Michigan. 231. 50. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Skyy Moore. player

For a big chunk of this season, Moore was legitimately one of the most productive wide receivers in the country. Over a 10-game stretch from September through the end of the regular season, he had 88 catches for 1,225 yards and 10 touchdowns.

With quarterback Kaleb Eleby set to leave Kalamazoo, Moore would be adjusting to a new quarterback (and a likely downgrade) next season. He has two years of eligibility left and could go back to school. But it does make some sense to declare for the draft off a great season, and the Lions gladly grab more receiver depth on Day 3.

Scouting Report. DL. Penn State. PJ Mustipher. 240. Pick Analysis. player. 50

Mustipher’s 2021 season ended early due to an injury, and the Nittany Lions’ run defense suffered for his absence. He could return for an extra year of eligibility in 2022, but if anything his injury might push him to enter the NFL. As Lions look to reinforce their defensive line with more youth, Mustipher is a worthy flier if he’s draftable.
