As the Detroit Lions get ready to welcome the Minnesota Vikings to Ford Field on Sunday, here’s a look at their final injury report for Week 13.

The Detroit Lions nearly beat the Minnesota Vikings back in Week 5, as they took a late lead before losing on a field goal on the final play. The rematch is coming this week, as the Lions are still looking to put a mark in the win column and the Vikings remain an up-and-down squad.

Here’s a look at Friday’s final Week 13 injury report for the Lions.

Detroit Lions Week 13 Injury Report

RB D’Andre Swift (shoulder)-Out
OLB Trey Flowers (knee)-Out
CB Bobby Price (shoulder)-Out
LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin (shoulder)-Out
OT Penei Sewell (illness/shoulder)-Questionable
DE Michael Brockers (knee)-Questionable
OT Matt Nelson (ankle)-Questionable
WR KhaDarel Hodge (illness)-No designation
WR Trinity Benson (knee)-No designation
OG Halapoulivaati Vaitai (concussion)-No designation

It’s no surprise Swift will miss Sunday’s game, and he might miss multiple games with a sprained shoulder. Jamaal Williams has been solid for the most part this season, and now he’ll have a bigger role as the Lions’ lead back.

Flowers will miss his third straight game. Price had barely been playing lately, but his absence is a hit to the Lions’ secondary depth. Reeves-Maybin has played at least half of the defensive snaps in six of the last eight games, so his absence is a hit to the linebacking corps.

Sewell was on the injury report with an illness (non-COVID related, presumably) all week. The shoulder issue he’s also listed with was a late addition.

Quarterback Jared Goff is no longer listed with an oblique injury.

Head coach Dan Campbell also had some broader injury updates on Friday. Kicker Austin Seibert won’t return this season from a hip injury, so Riley Patterson and Aldrick Rosas will continue to do the kicking for the Lions. Campbell also said, as expected, it’s “highly unlikely” wide receiver Quintez Cephus returns from a Week 5 collarbone injury this season.

On the Minnesota side, as expected, running back Dalvin Cook (shoulder) is out for Sunday’s game. Rookie left tackle Christian Darrisaw (ankle) is also out. Linebackers Anthony Barr (knee/hamstring) and Eric Kendricks (bicep) are listed as questionable.
