With no Lions game this weekend, here are five 2022 NFL Draft prospects fans can watch on Saturday.
The bye week is coming at a good time for the 0-8 Detroit Lions. The quest to at least win a game this season will continue in Week 10, but at least fans don’t have to watch an at-times competitive but ultimately overmatched team play on Sunday.
But there is hope that can be sold. The Lions have two first-round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft, and five of their current 11 picks are in the first 100 overall picks. So general manager Brad Holmes will be able to bring in some good young talent, with pre-draft trades to offload veterans definitely possible to add some picks.
Looking to this Saturday’s college football slate, here are five 2022 draft prospects Lions fans should have their eye on.

No need to get too cute here. Thibodeaux is regarded as the best player in the 2022 draft class, and the Lions should take him No. 1 overall if they have the pick.

Playing in the Pac-12 has surely made it difficult for Eastern time zone-based Lions’ fans to see Thibodeaux live. That changes this week, with a primetime Saturday night showcase.
