Coaching Staff- 2/5 Stars

Anthony Lynn deserves his share of criticism for the offensive futility. He’s certainly hamstrung by a quarterback that rarely throws the ball downfield, but he needs to get Goff’s confidence up. Or maybe take the decision out of Goff’s hands and scheme up plays where there’s no check down option.

Either way, 11 points isn’t going to cut it. And this offense hasn’t put up more than 17 points since Week 1. Something has to change, and with David Blough as the backup it won’t be under center unless Goff is seriously injured.

Defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn is ripe to get some great praise one of these weeks. This was a difficult game for his unit, but he has shown ability to scheme up plays.

Final Thoughts:

Being winless through six weeks is no fun, all the Lions can do is turn the page and move on to *checks notes* the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7. That’s going to be interesting. The Lions’ offense has been struggling, and the Rams dominated the New York Giants on Sunday. Oh, and Matthew Stafford is playing his first game against Detroit.

What could go wrong?
