Pair of wideouts

The Lions have one of the better pass-catching duos in the league and both would help you succeed in your fantasy league. Wide receivers Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones Jr are two receivers you should have on your draft list, especially the former.

Last season, Golladay led the league in touchdowns with 11 while gaining 1,190 yards on 65 receptions (average of 18.3 yards per catch). Keep in mind, Golladay played half his games without Stafford throwing the ball to him.

With Stafford now healthy, there’s a good chance Golladay has a better season than he did last year. He may not lead the league in touchdowns again but he could very well exceed the amount of yards he got last season.

Golladay would be a great guy to get in the third or fourth round of your draft. Don’t expect him to fall in the draft that much later.

Detroit’s secondary option in the passing game, Jones Jr, would also be a decent option to have on your team that you can get later on in the draft. In 13 games, he got 779 yards on 62 catches (12.6 average) while being found in the endzone nine times.

Jones Jr will benefit from having Stafford throwing him the ball the whole season as he should see his numbers rise. He’ll probably get around the same number of touchdowns with more yards.

In the case that Golladay were to get injured, Jones Jr would immediately be a top fantasy asset as the Lions number one option in the air.
