Rumors are swirling about the Detroit Lions potentially trading Darius Slay. If he does end up getting moved, what are some destinations that makes sense?

The NFL free-agency window doesn’t open for a few weeks, but that’s not stopping teams from still looking at potential additions to their team. The Detroit Lions have a man that’s of high interest, that being Darius Slay.

The Lions’ front office and Slay have been unable to reach an agreement on a contract extension so far. The more time that’s wasted, the higher chance that the Pro Bowl corner ends up leaving one way or another.

Detroit has been very transparent about the potential to trade Slay, as reported by CBS Sports several days ago. They’ve already contacted and spoken with multiple teams.

Slay himself hasn’t seemed to be phased about the rumors swirling around. Recently, his twitter feed has consisted of mostly subtweets, and retweets supporting the case that he should paid one way or another.

It’s not surprising to see Slay somewhat wanting out of Detroit. If he does end up leaving, he’ll go down as another talented player that Detroit wasted.

With that being said, here are five possible trade destinations for Darius Slay.
