6. Kenny Golladay ‘A star is born’ catch on opening day (2017)

Kenny Golladay got some people talking coming out of training camp before the 2017 season, especially after a two touchdown showing in the first exhibition game.

After two crucial touchdown catches in the 4th quarter of the regular season opener against the Arizona Cardinals, he got a lot of people talking.

Golladay’s Superman dive to reel in a 45-yard sling from Matthew Stafford not only put an exclamation point on the Lions’ opening day win, it gave fans some hope that maybe Megatron’s shoes could be filled after all.

Two years later, Golladay led the NFL in touchdown receptions, reaching 1,000 receiving yards for the second season in a row, and played in his first Pro Bowl.

His highlight reel has expanded to the point where many of his best catches actually rival Calvin Johnson’s, but none yet have been as breathtaking as this one in his Lions debut.
