Devin Funchess

2019 team/Salary: Indianapolis Colts / $10 million

2019 stats: 1 game played, 3 receptions, 32 yards

Age: 24

Height/Weight: 6-4 / 225

Funchess’ 2019 season never truly got underway after signing a hefty one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts. He suffered a broken collarbone in Week 1 and was lost for the season. That shouldn’t detract from the fact that this is a talented, young wideout who has likely yet to reach his potential and could be a nice fit in his hometown.

Funchess has excellent size, not unlike Golladay, and is a significant red-zone threat. Pairing these two together could be a nightmare for opposing secondaries, provided that he’s healthy and available.

Of these four players, Funchess seems like the most likely to return to his 2019 team, as the Colts may simply look at last year as a wash and opt for a do-over at a reduced price. Even so, adding a piece like him to their offense is an avenue that the Lions should definitely explore come springtime.
