Jeremy Hill – Free Agent

All signs point to Jeremy Hill being a major target for the Detroit Lions.

Not only did the Lions reportedly bring Hill in for a workout last week, not only is he a former Patriot, but his running backs coach from his days with the Cincinnati Bengals, Kyle Caskey, is now in Detroit.

Hill was a second-round selection out of LSU by the Bengals back in 2014. During his rookie season and under the watchful eye of Caskey, Hill rushed for 1,124 yards and nine scores in only eight starts. He would go to post 31 total touchdowns over his first three seasons in Cincinnati.

Last year, Hill played in a single game for the New England Patriots, suffering a torn ACL that he is only recently recovered from. If the Lions liked what they saw during his workout, adding the 27-year old running back to the roster is really a no-brainer.
