Lions vs. Chargers: TV schedule, live stream, radio, where to watch
After suffering a disappointing tie to the lowly Arizona Cardinals, the Detroit Lions will search for redemption in their home opener against the Chargers.
The Detroit Lions opened the NFL’s 100th regular season with a thud. Despite having a substantial lead heading into the fourth quarter, the Lions allowed the Arizona Cardinals to send the game into overtime and an unsatisfying tie.
Coming off a disappointing road outcome in Week One, the Lions will now travel back home to play against the 1-0 Los Angeles Chargers. The game will take place at Ford Field as is the Motor City’s home opener.
For Detroit, this matchup offers a chance for redemption in front of their home fans as there’s hope that the Lions showed enough on both sides of the ball against the Cardinals to make the contest competitive. They just needed to finish better.
For the Chargers, they are coming off a similar collapse against the Andrew Luck-less Indianapolis Colts in Week One. Los Angeles gave up a lead in the fourth quarter as the Colts forced overtime. But the difference is the Chargers actually scored a touchdown to seal the game in the extra frame.
