Detroit Lions vs. Bills: Preseason game info, time, channel, more

The Detroit Lions will play their third preseason contest of the year, their dress rehearsal game, this Friday night against the Buffalo Bills.
After sharing joint practices with both the New England Patriots and the Houston Texans, their first two preseason opponents, the Detroit Lions will now welcome the Buffalo Bills to the Motor City for their third preseason matchup of the year.
The third preseason contest is known by many as the dress rehearsal game. This is due to the fact many of the starters will usually play their most significant snaps in this game in order to prepare themselves for the regular season. This will likely be the last opportunity for fans to see their team’s star players in the preseason as most sit out the fourth and final game completely.
As for Lions’ fans, they’ll likely see the preseason debuts of many starters against the Bills. This includes quarterback Matthew Stafford, who did not play during the team’s first two games. Newly acquired names like defensive end Trey Flowers and defensive tackle Mike Daniels could make their Motown debuts as well.
