Lions All-Decade Safeties

Safeties: Glover Quin (2013-18), Louis Delmas (2009-13)

By all accounts, Quin was the consummate professional and teammate during his six years as a Lion, which ended this offseason.

Quin never missed a game as a Lion, and was a ‘glue guy’ noted for his locker room leadership. His best season was 2014, when he led the NFL with seven interceptions and was named to his only Pro Bowl.

In his rookie season, Delmas showcased a fiery persona, always talking, always playing at full speed, dreadlocks violently flapping as he looked to lay somebody out.

With two touchdowns (A 100-yard interception return and a 65-yard fumble return) along with a safety in 2009, Delmas looked like a playmaker in the making.

Though that never came to fruition (his numbers declined from his rookie year on in nearly every category), Delmas remained a starter and vocal leader of the team for four more years.

Could potentially join this list with a big year in 2019: Quandre Diggs.
