With the 29th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks select…

36. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Safety. Nasir Adderley. Delaware. 29. player

After getting their Frank Clark replacement earlier on in the day, the Seahawks fill in their open spot in the secondary. After seeing Earl Thomas leave in free agency, the Seahawks get a safety that can replace him in the free safety role he played.

Adderley can come in right away and start alongside Kam Chancellor and/or Bradley McDougald. Adderley is a rangy safety that plays the ball in the air and has good ball skills. Adderley is a sure tackler and can provide good safety play right away. The biggest knock on his game is the level of competition he played against in college, but I think he will be up to the challenge.
