. NEW YORK GIANTS (5-11). . Ed Oliver, DT - Houston. 6. player. 31

We’re going to spin a little story here. Kick In the Crotch Weekly’s opinion is that the Giants want one of two things to happen. Either to land Josh Rosen for their second-round pick (number 37 to fulfill their need for an heir to Eli Manning or for one of the four top quarterbacks to drop to them there. Their fail-safe is that they have pick seventeen in round one if they felt that Drew Lock, Dwayne Haskins, or Daniel Jones were better.

Oliver is an elite athlete at 6-2, 281 pounds, and runs a 4.73 forty-yard dash. He compares favorably to Aaron Donald in strength, size, speed, and agility according to Ramswire. Oliver has been productive but also has flashed some undesirable characteristics, yelling at his college coach, too.

Oliver looks like he could play multiple positions in any defense, as an end or tackle. In a draft without many sure things, Oliver has the athleticism to demand an early call on draft night. He may not make it this far.
