Kyler Murray, QB - Oklahoma. 1. player. 32. . ARIZONA CARDINALS (3-13).

This seems to be a consensus for weeks now. New head coach, Kliff Kingsbury, wants Kyler Murray as his quarterback. Murray has some similarities to Seattle Seahawks’ trigger man, Russell Wilson, Murray is under six-foot (5-10), has a live arm, is athletic (both men were highly sought after baseball prospects, as well), and is a pass-first player although he can make plays with his feet.

This would be the second year in a row that the number one pick was an Oklahoma Sooners quarterback. Last year the Cleveland Browns selected Baker Mayfield from Oklahoma University.

The Detroit Lions would love to see two or three quarterbacks go off the board prior to their pick given that there are probably four quarterbacks that could go in Round One.
