Deone Bucannon

Age/Experience: 26, 5 years
Height/Weight: 6-1, 211
2018 Base Salary: $8,718,000
2018 Statistics: 13 games, 1 forced fumble, 30 total tackles

Bucannon is almost a sure bet to move on from the Arizona Cardinals. A coaching change in the desert, combined with the fact that he started the fewest games of his career in 2018 (six) since his rookie season in 2014, will likely prompt Bucannon to search for a new home.

He had an underwhelming 2018, and there were attempts to trade him during the season. He’s on this list because of his ability to play as a hybrid safety/linebacker, with safety being another highly valued position by this Lions regime. He could be worth a flier at a reasonable price, in a depth role.
