Beau Benzschawel, G, Wisconsin

Age: 23
Height/Weight: 6-6, 317
2018 Stats: 13 starts
2019 Draft Projection: Rounds 3-5

With a host of needs on defense and at the skill positions on offense, the Lions seem unlikely to draft an offensive lineman on day one and possibly even day two in Nashville.

However, Lions’ general manger Bob Quinn has shown a propensity for drafting offensive lineman (four in his three drafts at the helm).

Benzschawel could be a reasonable investment for a mid or late-round pick. Draft Network likes his potential “as a gap/power right guard at the NFL level.”

With new offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell likely moving the Lions towards a run-friendly offense in 2019, Benzschawel could be a fit.

Those are some possibilities for next season. Who do you think should start for the Detroit Lions at right guard in 2019? Let us know in the comments!
