Pick Analysis: The Lions need to add talented players to their defense. And because they run a multiple scheme, which includes the 3-4, Detroit’s roster must be deep at linebacker. A prospect like Joe Giles-Harris is a bit of a sleeper as he’s coming off an MCL injury in 2018, which will likely hurt his draft stock.

But this is a smart linebacker who is solid in coverage and a tackling machine, racking up 232 tackles in his previous two seasons at Duke. The Lions need versatile linebackers like Giles-Harris. And this is a possible steal that many teams could miss on.
