#5 – Aqib Talib, CB – Los Angeles Rams

Aging pure cover cornerbacks with slight injury concerns aren’t in high demand. Talib is an exception.

Arguably a Hall of Fame candidate, he helped push the Los Angeles Rams all the way to the Super Bowl, only to fall just short.

They are strapped for cash and moving on from the 32-year-old is almost likely, especially when it costs $0 dollars to do so.

Although his contract is a one year rental, it’s a fair $8 million cap hit. That’s great value.

2018 stats: 11 games/11 starts; 36 tackles, 5 passes defended, 1 interception, 2 forced fumbles

Fair compensation: Nevin Lawson and a 2020 conditional 5th-6th round pick
