#2 – Lavonte David, LB – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

More from SideLion Report

Easily one of the best inside/outside linebackers in the game today. Injuries have hit recently but it hasn’t slowed David down much, if at all.

There’s not much incentive for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to cut bait other than freeing up cap space.

With a new coaching staff and a potential rebuild in place, it’s possible.

Dead cap is no issue, costing nothing whatsoever to trade him.

The two years remaining on the contract calls for $9.75 million and $10.75 million dollar cap hits, surprisingly affordable for a top-tier play at his position.

2018 stats: 14 games/14 starts; 120 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 2 passes defended, 1 forced fumble

Fair compensation: 4th-5th round pick and a 5th-6th round pick
