L.J. Scott, RB – Michigan State Spartans (Senior)

Age: 22
Height/Weight: 6-1, 225
2018 Stats: 264 rushing yards, 3.3 ypc (5 games)
Draft Round Projection: Rounds 3-5

After a promising Junior season for the Spartans in which he averaged 4.5 yards per carry and scored eight touchdowns on the ground, Scott spent much of 2018 injured and played in only five games totaling just 359 yards from scrimmage.

Still, he showed enough promise earlier in his college career that he was thought of as a potential early-round pick. Should his medical situation check out, Scott could become an intriguing value pick for the Lions in the later rounds. Especially if he begins to fall down draft boards. The Lions have two picks in both the sixth and seventh rounds.
