Adrian Peterson, RB – Washington Redskins

Age: 33
Height/Weight: 6-1, 220
2018 Stats: 1,042 rushing yards, 4.2 ypc, 7 tds, 20 recs, 208 yards, 1 td
2018 Salary: $1 million
2019 Status: Unrestricted Free Agent (UFA)

Don’t let his age throw you – “All Day” can still play. At an age when most running backs are collecting NFL pensions instead of paychecks, Peterson racked up over 1,000 rushing yards for Washington in 2018, the eighth such campaign of his career.

The connection to the Lions is clear – Peterson played under Darrell Bevell for three seasons in Minnesota. He has been reluctant to accept a backup role in the past. But after years of torturing the Lions wearing a Vikings uniform, would Peterson be interested in facing his old team at least twice a year with a chance at some retribution and padding his Hall of Fame credentials?

Only time, and obviously money, will tell.
