Alfred Blue, RB – Houston Texans

Age: 27
Height/Weight: 6-2, 225
2018 Stats: 499 rushing yards, 3.3 ypc, 2 tds, 20 recs, 154 yards
2018 Salary: $720K
2019 Status: Unrestricted Free Agent (UFA)

Blue finished his fifth season with the Texans totaling 499 rushing yards (3.3 yards per attempt) and a pair of touchdowns. A career backup, Blue would likely be a cost-effective option for the Lions, as the Texans seem headed for an overhaul of their running back group.

Though his short yardage production isn’t great (2.7 yards per attempt), he has been fairly durable – he’s only missed only eight games in his career.
