Last season meant high expectations but a low win total for the Detroit Lions. Here’s a look back at 12 of the best and worst moments of 2018.
With the offseason in full swing, here’s the final chance for fans of the Detroit Lions to look back at the best and the worst from 2018.
Let’s kick off this season in review with a look at the Pride’s best and worst individual performances.
Individual Performances
Best: Kerryon Johnson @ Miami, Week 6
The exciting rookie’s breakout game was against New England, but this follow-up provided more evidence that the Lions may have at last found a long-term solution at running back.
With 19 carries for 158 yards, including a 71 yard burst in the first half, Kerryon opened the flood gates for the team’s highest over rushing output in over 20 years (248 as a team).
Worst: LeGarrette Blount, Weeks 8 through 11
For a four game stretch in October and November, The 250 pound bruiser averaged less than a single yard per carry. From the loss to Seattle to the win over Carolina, Blount had a total of 16 rushing yards on 21 carries
Just as a quick reminder, Blount was the Lions’ biggest free agent signee from last spring.
