Defense South Team

Oshane Ximines, DE/Edge, Old Dominion, 6-3, 241, 4.84

More from SideLion Report

Oshane Ximines is another reason that we love the Senior Bowl, these smaller school guys get to show Power-5 guys that they are not inferior.

Ximinies earned first-team All-Conference USA honors with 11.5 sacks and 15 tackles for loss.

He is currently thought of as a Day 2 prospect, possibly a second-round option if the Lions skip taking an edge player in the first round.

Ximines looks like an NFL player and passes the eye test.

He has a lot of athletic ability but looks raw.

The common theme of “not ideal speed” applies here, too.

In watching him play some he looks like he should dominate some players at his level but does not always as he sometimes stands up and doesn’t use his weight and athleticism take over.

The Lions will definitely be looking to see how he plays in this game.
