Why re-sign him: Think of Ricky Jean-Francois as the human learning curve. His experience playing in Matt Patricia’s scheme makes him very valuable. Having a veteran like him in the classroom, during film study, in the locker room and on the field will accelerate the growth of everyone around him. Plus, Jean-Francois owns several Dunkin’ Donuts franchises. The potential donut discount alone might be worth keeping the big fella in Detroit for another season.
