Following another difficult season, the Detroit Lions are firmly focused on improving themselves in 2019. From adding a new offensive coordinator, to key free agents and the upcoming NFL draft; the Lions are in full offseason swing.

One of the big takeaways from the above article is the fact Bevell’s offense have been so successful running the football. With running backs like Adrian Peterson and Marshawn Lynch, he’s posted top ten run offenses eight times in his career. The most intriguing name in the above list is Seattle Seahawks’ pass rusher Frank Clark. Clark is only 25-years old and has registered 32.0 sacks in his last three seasons. If by some miracle Seattle allows him to hit free agency, the Lions should pounce.

Although adding more pass rushers is clearly a priority for Detroit in 2019, the addition of Bevell as offensive coordinator makes things interesting when it comes to improving the offense.

He’ll join cornerback Darius Slay as representatives from the Pride in the NFL’s version of an All-Star game. It could be Muhlbach’s final game in the NFL as the 37-year old is considering retirement.
