Chris Harris Jr, CB – Denver Broncos

Someone the Lions could look into is Broncos’ corner Chris Harris. Before the trade deadline this past season it was said he was on the trading block. If he still is then Quinn should definitely be going after him.

More from SideLion Report

Harris is the league’s best slot cornerback and would be a major improvement over what the Lions have there currently. The Lions main slot corner this past season, until he got hurt, was Jamal Agnew. Agnew got a PFF grade of 49.7. Another player that has slot experience, Nevin Lawson, got a 60.6 grade from PFF.

Harris got a grade of 86.0, making him the third best overall cornerback this year according to PFF. Harris is someone that Quinn should definitely look into, even though he might be on the pricier side.

At a little under 30-years of age and playing on just a $7.9 million next year, the Broncos aren’t going to give him up for change. Getting Harris would take at least the Lions third-round pick plus a sixth rounder, and very possibly the Lions might have to include their second rounder in a deal.

While trading for him is a possibility, it is a small one. The Broncos would want a lot in return and I doubt Quinn would give up much. But if he could be had for a third I say go for it.
