Lions at Packers: Detroit pours on the points in shutout win

Stafford hit Powell for 4-yards to begin the 4th quarter but Blount lost 2-yards on the very next play. On 3rd & 6, Andy Jones dropped a pass that hit him right in the hands and Martin had to punt it back to the Packers once again.
In an impressive use of his legs, Deshone Kizer somehow stayed up after it looked like he was going down in a sack, ran to gain yardage and an unnecessary roughness penalty on Jarrad Davis gave up the first down. Kizer also scrambled for another first down just a few plays later with a big run.

A combination of Hyder, Tavon Wilson, and Romeo Okwara took Kizer down in the backfield on third down but on fourth down, he scrambled once again for another first down. The fans in attendance roared back to life as Kizer showcased his ability to use his legs to make big plays for his team.
The Lions defense dueled the Packers into having to go for it again on 4th & 3 but this time instead of using his legs, Kizer tried to go deep for Valdes-Scantling but the play was broken up by Darius Slay.
Stafford completed a pass of 10+ to Toilolo and a roughing the passer penalty on the Packers tacked on another 15-yards in favor of the Lions. Next, Brandon Powell did his best Golden Tate impersonation as he spun to gain some yards after the catch as he raced for a gain of 15-yards. On the next play, Stafford connected with TJ Jones once again for a 23-yard touchdown for the duos’ second of the game, 31-0 Detroit.
Early in the new Green Bay series, Detroit safety Quandre Diggs came in to intercept the pass, giving his team the ball back.
Detroit gained yardage to get to the game’s two-minute warning and they took a knee from the Victory formation in order to bleed the rest of the time off of the clock in order to ice Detroit’s fourth consecutive game against the Packers, 31-0 Detroit. Final.
