With only their draft status at stake, the Detroit Lions have a whopping ten players who were listed on their final injury report for Week 17.

When the Detroit Lions face off against the Green Bay Packers, it’s an NFC North battle that is often a highly competitive game pitting two divisional foes against one another. And that familiarity often makes for an intriguing matchup.

Unfortunately, both franchises find themselves out of playoff contention and in an all but meaningless matchup at the end of a disappointing season. At this point, the only impact this Sunday’s game will have is on the season-ending record and their respective spots in the 2019 NFL Draft.

For the Lions, a loss could result in them being granted a selection as high as the second overall pick in the upcoming draft. A win could drop them down as low as the 10th overall selection.

Still, it is fully expected that the Lions will do everything they can to win in Lambeau Field on Sunday. But they’ll have to do so without several key players as a whopping 10 names were listed on the team’s final injury report.

Already officially ruled out for the divisional contest are defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson (knee), tight end Luke Willson (concussion) and cornerback DeShawn Shead (knee). Robinson was placed on Injured Reserve on Friday.

Six players are considered questionable for the matchup in Green Bay. They are defensive tackle Damon Harrison (ankle), wide receiver Kenny Golladay (chest), running back LeGarrette Blount (knee), cornerback Jamal Agnew (knee), safety Quandre Diggs (back) and corner Nevin Lawson (ankle).

Also listed on the Detroit Lions’ final injury report was quarterback Matthew Stafford, who continues to play through a nagging back injury. The 30-year old passer was able to be a full participant in all three practice sessions this week and should be available to play in Week 17.
